My friend and I have just finshed the basic course at Central Chambers. It was so much fun. Can't believe how confident we both feel since the first week. The teacher was lovely (Lou) and I can't wait for the advanced!
It was the best experience I have had. It gave us confidence in everything. We have also found respect for pole dancers because you think it looks easy until you try the moves and find it is actually a lot harder than it looks. I would recomend everyone to try it!
I've just completed the basic course at Central Chambers. The set up is very professional and our tutor was fantastic. The first night we were all ' scared rabbits caught in the head lights, ' but by the last week we were fighting to show off our newly learnt skills on the pole! We were all surprised at how quickly we attained a good standard. Congratulations to the staff at Central Chambers! Highly recomended! And I'm gonna be attending the advanced course later in the year.
I really enjoyed the course, Lou is a fantasic tutor and I can't believe the excersise benefits!

Really good fun and great for fitness! All the staff at Central Chambers were great!

At last pole dancing arrived! If you are looking for something different
from your usual dance classes why not try pole dancing? Its easy to see
my pole dancing is becoming so popular. Its great for self expression,
relaxation and confidence building and has been hailed as the latest
alterative to Aerobics or Yoga as it improves muscle and flexibility.
But don't be fooled pole dancing is a lot more strenuous than it looks!
Forget hours spent sweating it out in a gym. Pole dancing tones muscles,
improves suppleness and is a great way to exercise the heart. You can
expect to burn up to 250 calories in one session!

Pole dancing is for anyone who would like to give it a go. No experience
is needed you just need to keen to have fun! Nearly everyone who starts
to pole dance for the first time feels intimidated by the pole. This is
natural not many people are used to swinging round poles! Many people
worry about their age, weight, height, fitness or looks. There is no need
to worry about any of these issues everyone is welcome and should feel
at ease.

Bare arms and legs are essential for extra grip on the pole. You will
slip with trousers or tights on. Trainers are recommended for the first
few lesson, but when you feel comfortable high heels are an advantage
to give that extra sexy feeling. The ideal out fit is either shorts and
t-shirt or if you feel comfortable enough you can wear a short skirt or
dress. You have also make sure that your top is not too restrictive
on your top half.
